Earlier this year a close friend and co-worker of mine Leon Edwards, or as we like to call him “Uncle Leon” passed away of a severe heart attack on the way to work earlier this summer. So in memory of our old friend Exel decided to put on a 5K charity run at Elderodo Park. The funds raised would go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation to aid in their efforts to purchase defibulators and etc.
I would like to thank the organizers Debbie and Martin for putting this event together, and everyone else who took time out of their busy schedule to make this a successful day for a great cause and good friend/co-worker.
Leon you will still remain in the hearts and memories of everyone here at Exel. We miss you…R.I.P.

This past Thursday James of Original Concepts put on his regular Thursday night event called Sake and Soul. Which consisted of Live music from Omar, and Shai Wisdom. Some Comedians by the likes of Jay Martin, and Rob Clifford. The Dj for the night was none other than Dj Royale of Grand Groove Dj’s.
On Sunday I decided to attend the Biker Boyz Blocko at Hwy 7 and Weston rd., which was held in the Wheels for Less parking lot. Since this was my first time going I didn’t really know what to expect other than a bunch of Bikes done up, and a few people taking it in. It was much more than that, so take a look at the pics to see what I experienced.
